Drew Gallis works as a Senior Security Engineer at one of the leading financial technology BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) organizations. Throughout his professional security career, Drew has worn many different hats working in Application Security, Platform Security, Security Operations, Enterprise Security, and Vulnerability Analysis.

With his work, Drew continues to push the envelope for cloud native infrastructure as code (IAC) and kubernetes security deployments. Currently paving the way as the sole engineer on the Security Operations Team, he works primarily on developing new ingestion flows, automating complex security challenges, ensuring the stability of our security deployments, and assisting with Incident Response.

When Drew is not busy with his security work, he enjoys working on his home lab to test out the latest and greatest open-source security software and continues experimenting with different hardware hacking solutions. Drew also enjoys traveling, hiking, fly fishing, attending security conferences, and mixology. Last but not the least, Drew is always passionate about breaking things and thinks that security is more than just a job, it’s a lifestyle.
